Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking an Imaging Technician 2 to join a highly skilled biomedical engineering team. The role involves repairing, maintaining, testing, and calibrating advanced imaging equipment to ensure safe and proper operation, and documenting activities per departmental guidelines.

The successful candidate will have an Associate Degree in Biomedical Technology or a Bachelor's in Medical Electronics, with preference for CRES certification and 5 years of imaging repair experience,

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree in Biomedical Technology or Bachelor Degree in Medical Electronics field to provide supportive and technical expertise to customers (Military and Manufacturer specific training will be considered in lieu of academic certificate)
• CRES certification preferred
• 5 years experience preferred as an imaging equipment repair tech, with a minimum of 3 years working on complex imaging modalities, to include: CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Cath Lab
