Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus seeks a Clinical Engineering Imaging Technician III to diagnose, repair, calibrate and maintain imaging equipment across IR/CT/MRI/LINAC systems, with minimal vendor support and a focus on patient care.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, primarily serving Northeast Ohio. Candidates should meet degree/experience requirements and have training in radiological service or equivalent credentials.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Technology
• Four years of CC Imaging Tech experience or equivalent
• High School diploma/GED with four years CC Imaging Tech experience or six years outside experience maintaining and troubleshooting medical equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or IT field may substitute for required experience
• Radiological service training program from OEM or 3rd party training company

Responsibilities

• Analyze system failures of medical imaging systems and perform repairs per manufacturer protocol within SLAs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on complex medical systems and develop site-specific PM procedures.
• Perform incoming inspections of new equipment and complete CMMS documentation.
• Act as an enterprise resource providing technical imaging equipment expertise.
• Provide on-the-job cross training to fellow technicians.
• Communicate equipment readiness and status to clinical and non-clinical caregivers, including progress updates for senior leaders.

Education

Associate's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Technology

High School diploma/GED with four years CC Imaging Tech experience

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or IT field

Six years outside experience maintaining and troubleshooting medical equipment
