Job summary

KLA is seeking a senior algorithm engineer in the RAPID division (Milpitas, USA) to develop algorithmic solutions for image modeling and processing. You will prototype and productise algorithms, engage with systems and software teams, and support deployments at customer sites, including occasional international travel.

Required: PhD in Applied Math/EE/CS or related field with extensive experience in CUDA C++, GPU-accelerated computing, image processing, and HPC.

Qualifications

• PhD in Applied Math, EE, CS or related field with relevant work experience.
• Master’s level with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prototype image modeling and processing algorithms from requirements to productisation.
• Collaborate with systems, optics, sensors and software teams to co-optimize algorithms with sub-systems.
• Support algorithm deployments at customer sites and occasional international travel.
