Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an Image Analyst within the Translational Sciences group in Neuroscience Discovery Research to quantify PET and MRI data, develop analysis pipelines, and manage data infrastructures.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with academics, CROs, and internal teams to support translational imaging efforts. The candidate should have strong programming skills, experience with PET/MR analytics, and a track record of producing rigorous imaging analyses for publication

Qualifications

• Quantitative analysis of PET and/or MR imaging data.
• Proficiency in scientific programming (Python, MATLAB, R, C/C++).
• Strong Linux skills.
• Experience with imaging analysis tools and PACS/DICOM.

Responsibilities

• Quantify preclinical and clinical PET/MR imaging data and interpret results.
• Develop and validate Python-based image processing pipelines.
• Curate and quality control imaging data and maintain data platforms.
• Collaborate with imaging CROs and provide technical oversight of analyses.
• Communicate results in study reports and publications.
