Yorke Engineering, LLC is seeking a Sr. Industrial Hygiene and Safety Specialist to join our Northern California team (San Francisco, Berkeley).

This full-time role focuses on designing safety and environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing client-facing training during regular business hours. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in safety/industrial hygiene, strong communication, and experience in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in Public Health and Safety or related field; GPA minimum 3.0.
• PM experience and/or experience supporting project teams.
• Strong Health & Safety rule knowledge and regulatory interpretation.
• Experience with air quality and multimedia compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate and analyze work environments; design safety and environmental programs.
• Provide training to clients and project teams; communicate analyses to Yorke and regulators.
• Lead project management activities and ensure quality across multiple clients.
