Job summary

Scale AI is hiring for an Identity Engineer to build and secure core identity infrastructure for enterprise systems. You will implement authentication using SSO, MFA, and federated identity including SAML, OAuth and OIDC, and design authorization with ReBAC/ABAC/RBAC at scale.

You will shape identity governance policies, ensure compliance with security standards like NIST, SOC2 and ISO 27001, and communicate complex concepts to cross-functional teams across Scale AI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time engineering experience, post-graduation with specialities in infrastructure and identity systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity infrastructure for secure authentication and authorization across enterprise systems.
• Develop authentication mechanisms (SSO, MFA, federated identity via SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Develop authorization (ReBAC, ABAC, RBAC) implementations at scale.
• Create identity governance policies aligned with security policies, industry regulations (NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001).
• Convey technical information to teams and stakeholders on identity management best practices.
