Optimum in Plano, Texas is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the Entra ID and Active Directory platform for a large enterprise. You will design, implement, and migrate identity services across on-prem and cloud environments, guiding the move to a cloud-first, Entra-authoritative model.

You will lead initiatives around Conditional Access, phishing-resistant MFA, PIM, and SSO, with automation in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years hands-on engineering with Entra ID at enterprise scale, within 5+ years of Microsoft identity and directory experience including production AD.
• Knowledge of Active Directory schema, ACLs, SID history, and delegation models.
• Experience with log analysis using KQL across Entra sign-in, audit, and provisioning logs.
• Migration from on-premises Active Directory to a cloud-native Entra ID model, including greenfield forest and tenant standup, coexistence, and de-hybridization.

Responsabilidades

• Design, engineer, and implement the enterprise identity plane across Entra ID and Active Directory, serving as the final internal authority on Entra.
• Plan and execute the move to cloud-first, Entra-authoritative model: greenfield forest and tenant standup, coexistence design, wave-based cutover, and de-hybridization.
• Design, pilot, and enforce Conditional Access and phishing-resistant authentication at enterprise scale, with staging and What-If validation.
• Engineer privileged access to eliminate standing administrative privilege, implementing PIM and least-privilege scoping.
• Onboard applications and workload identities to modern authentication and SSO, right-size application permissions, and remove long-lived credentials.
• Build and maintain identity automation in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph under version control.
• Track the Microsoft identity roadmap and convert announcements into remediation plans and change requests.
