Job summary

eBay is seeking a Senior Engineer in the Identity Domain to provide senior technical leadership for IAM across the platform. You will define and evolve enterprise-wide IAM architecture, influence engineering standards, and drive secure, scalable identity capabilities across multiple teams.

You will implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and passwordless approaches, mentor engineers, and shape roadmaps for identity.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building identity and access management systems.
• Strong knowledge of identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM).
• Experience with federated and distributed identity architectures.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for identity services across platforms.
• Define IAM architecture & engineering standards.
• Design and maintain reference implementations for core identity capabilities.
• Lead security-focused reviews of designs and code.
