Job summary

MUSC Health in Charleston, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse II to deliver individualized patient care using the nursing process and to lead other team members within the MICU. A Bachelor of Nursing degree is preferred; RNs hired with an Associate or Diploma must enroll in a BSN program within two years and complete it within four years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; BSN enrollment required for ADN/diploma hires.
• RNs hired after 1 July 2013 must enroll in BSN within two years.
• Minimum of one year RN work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members with multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Deliver patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and uphold professional standards and accountability.
