HDR is seeking a Senior ICT Designer in Chicago, IL to lead the production of design drawings, calculations, and specifications for ICT and security projects. The role includes coordinating the ICT team, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality control across all design stages.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in security system design, familiarity with Autodesk products, and a strong commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture and client relationships within Building Engineering Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years in security system design; familiarity with Autodesk.
• RCDD certification helpful.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsabilités

• Produce design drawings, calculations and specifications for ICT/security projects.
• Coordinate ICT team work and mentor staff.
• Develop client relationships and support marketing/project planning.
• Perform QA/QC on security designs.
• Represent HDR to the local industry.
