Location:Remote, USA.A renowned, multi-discipline consulting firm specializing in the design and implementation of mission-critical infrastructure solutions. With a focus on data center projects and large-scale hospital projects, we deliver innovative and reliable solutions that meet the complex needs of our clients. As an industry leader, we are committed to excellence, integrity, and client satisfaction.The RCDD Design Consultant will play a key role in designing and implementing critical infrastructure solutions for data center projects and large-scale hospital projects, primarily on the West Coast. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of mission-critical facilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive infrastructure designs for data center projects and large-scale hospital projects.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and requirements gathering to ensure designs meet the functional, operational, and regulatory requirements of the facility.
  • Utilize your expertise as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) to design structured cabling systems, telecommunications networks, and other critical infrastructure components.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and best practices, including ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
  • Manage the design process from concept to completion, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure designs are implemented according to specifications and meet project deadlines.
  • Provide technical consultation and guidance to clients and project teams on infrastructure design, technology selection, and implementation best practices.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to support decision-making and project planning.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and technical reports.
  • Review and approve design documentation generated by project team members and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., RCDD, PMP) preferred.
  • Proven experience as an RCDD Design Consultant working on mission-critical projects, with a focus on data center projects and large-scale hospital projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of structured cabling systems, telecommunications networks, and critical infrastructure components.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/ Revit is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
