Job summary

N26 is seeking an ICT Compliance Senior Manager to lead the strategy and ongoing evolution of its IT compliance framework within the 2nd Line of Defense. You will drive governance, risk management, and regulatory reporting for EU/German standards, while mentoring teams and advancing automation.

The role emphasizes leadership across CISO Office, AI-powered initiatives, and collaboration with senior stakeholders to meet regulatory expectations and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
• Professional certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISSP).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in IT risk management, ICT compliance, or information security with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Define IT compliance strategy for the 2nd Line of Defense and elevate cross-team roadmaps.
• Lead independent 2nd-line assessments of ISMS and ICT control ecosystem.
• Ensure adherence to EU and German frameworks (DORA, MaRisk, BAIT, PSD3/PSD2, CSA) and ISO/NIST.
• Own regulatory reporting and present posture to executives and regulators.
• Champion AI-enabled monitoring and automation to scale compliance processes.
