Job summary

N26 is seeking an ICT Risk Assessment Manager to join the Information Risk Management segment in Berlin. You will lead ICT risk assessments, coordinate audits for third-party tools, and provide oversight on risks, controls, and technologies while translating complex risks into clear insights for business and tech teams.

Ideal candidates bring 4–5 years of ICT risk management experience in fintech, familiarity with MaRisk and DORA, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in ICT risk management, ICT audits, or related fields.
• Banking/FinTech sector experience with MaRisk and DORA understanding is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
• Ownership mindset with ability to identify weaknesses and drive optimizations.
• Hands-on knowledge of leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and team productivity.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle of ICT risk assessments from identification to remediation monitoring.
• Coordinate ICT risk assessments and audits for third‑party tools and services with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical and quality oversight of ICT risks, controls, and technologies including risk decisions and improvements.
• Translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable insights for business and technical teams.
• Conduct security impact assessments on ICT assets and business processes.
• Develop KPIs and KRIs to monitor ICT third‑party risks and report to the 2nd line of defense.
• Identify gaps in current frameworks and lead improvement efforts to boost efficiency.
• Coach and mentor new hires and junior colleagues with knowledge sharing and feedback.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships aligned with organizational priorities.
