Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on security experience
• ICS/OT Security: Understanding of OT security principles, network segmentation, and defense-in-depth strategies for industrial environments, including Modbus, BACnet, Profibus, and gateway architectures
• Network & Logical Security Fundamentals: Firewall rules, network segmentation, and access control in OT/IT convergence
• Knowledge of CVE/CVSS, firmware analysis, and patch management
• Documentation and Process Discipline: Clear, structured docs like decision trees and runbooks
• Communication and Escalation Judgment: Clear written assessments and recommendations

Responsibilities

• Review incoming security intake requests and triage to SMEs based on criteria
• Assess security processes and controls across ICS/OT environment
• Escalate complex items to ICS/OT SMEs with complete context
• Serve as first-line reviewer for escalations related to ICS/OT products and gaps
• Participate in biweekly NiSC calls to address escalations and process improvements
• Process and track firewall exception requests for OT/ICS network segments
• Manage exception workflows including documentation and revalidation of standing exceptions
• Conduct firmware reviews and vulnerability assessments for OT devices
• Identify process improvements to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
• Produce regular status reports on queue volumes, SLA adherence, and backlog trends
