Job summary

Bailey Information Technology, LLC seeks a Senior ICAM Engineer (Technician Level 4) to lead modernization efforts for PEP/PIP/EMS/RPMS components in Chantilly, VA. The role involves hands-on design, development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of identity, authentication, and authorization services.

You will work with the Architect and Technical Lead, supporting PI planning, CI/CD, and Kubernetes deployment across on‑prem and government platforms.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with identity, authentication, authorization, or enterprise security.
• Experience in distributed systems or microservices on modern platforms.
• Experience supporting Agile teams and iterative delivery.
• Ability to translate architectural guidance into actionable engineering tasks.
• Must be able to obtain Security+ within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement ICAM modernization designs for PEP/PIP/EMS and RPMS components.
• Develop and integrate microservices for identity, attributes, authorization, resource registration, and policy distribution.
• Collaborate with Architect to translate designs into engineering tasks and interfaces.
• Support the Technical Lead in PI planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and risk identification.
• Develop new PEP/PIP patterns including enforcement endpoints and attribute retrieval mechanisms.
• Enhance EMS/RPMS through automation for lifecycle management and policy ingestion workflows.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure automation, and deployment to Kubernetes or Gov platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote secure coding and ICAM best practices.
