Job summary

Medtronic plc in Tempe, AZ seeks a Senior IC Test Development Engineer to develop precision measurement, dynamic analysis, and automated test software for custom analog/mixed-signal ICs. You’ll contribute across definition, design for testability, hardware/software design, debugging, and manufacturing release in a heavily regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of industry experience in IC test, design, or verification.
• Advanced degree with 2+ years of IC test, design or verification experience.
• Nice to have: experience with mixed-signal testers and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and owning test system redesign and improvement projects.
• Lead/develop plans, schedules and equipment for testing Medtronic products.
• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
• Plan and arrange labor, schedules, and equipment for testing.
• Support new test system development as a subject matter expert.
• Compile data and define changes in testing equipment or procedures.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing site complex issues.
