Job summary

Medtronic in Tempe, Arizona is seeking a Senior IC Test Development Engineer to develop precision parametric measurement, dynamic signal analysis, and automated test system software for highly custom analog and mixed-signal ICs.

You will participate in all phases of product development, including definition, testability design, test hardware/software, hands-on debugging, characterization, and manufacturing release within a heavily regulated quality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years industry experience with IC test, design or verification
• Experience with mixed signal testers (SPEA, Advantest, LTX) preferred
• Hands-on with lab equipment: Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, DVM, etc.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a cross-functional, remote-capable environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and own test system redesign and improvement projects
• Plan, schedule, and equipment for testing Medtronic products during manufacturing
• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment
• Plan labor, schedules, and equipment for standard and special Medtronic devices
• Support new test system development as a subject matter expert
• Analyze data and specify changes to testing equipment and procedures
