Responsibilities
- Install software and support applications on servers as needed.
- Analyze and monitor network security access, conduct user access reviews.
- Maintain policies, practices, and SOX controls related to your expertise; document and update policies accordingly.
- Ensure backup and replication of systems under the direction of the IBM Systems Manager.
- Support storage area network (SAN) under guidance from the IBM Systems Manager.
- Support Helpdesk and PC Specialists; resolve escalated issues.
- Assist with desktop support and configuration tasks under the PC Manager.
- Monitor and maintain Production, HA, and DR systems—backups, patching, storage, etc.
- Develop and distribute performance reports using IBM tools.
- Perform off-hours work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a computer-related field, with at least five years of system administration experience.
- Good understanding of technical equipment and software.
- Experience with:
- IBM AS/400, IBM iSeries, IBM Power 9
- EMC SAN and storage devices, IBM DS8000 Storage
- VTL backups, BRMS, clustering
- Performance monitoring
- IBM Web services
- System maintenance (IPL, PTF, SAVSYS, etc.)
- CL programming (a plus)
- Knowledge of IT security best practices
- Understanding of frameworks like COBIT, ISACA, SANS
- Self-motivated learner, adaptable to new technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to interpret technical and business documents.
- Capable of training less experienced team members.
- Ethical and aligned with company values.

Compensation:
- Target Base Salary: $115k-$128k (based on experience, negotiable)
