Qualifications

• Extensive experience with IBM Workload Scheduler architecture and related components (MDM/BMDM/FTA/DA).
• Proficient in using conman, composer and planman CLIs to manage scheduling objects and production plans.
• Experience installing IWS components and applying patches/fixes.
• Strong Linux system administration and shell scripting background.
• Familiar with monitoring logs (logs, FFDC) and trace levels.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control production plans using DWC and CLIs.
• Install and configure IWS components and apply Fix Packs.
• Troubleshoot based on logs (logs, FFDC), adjust trace levels.
• Manage systemd services for IWS agents and MDM.
• Monitor system performance and diagnose bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with DBAs on Oracle connectivity and SQL basics.
