Precision Technologies is seeking an expert IBM MQ Administrator to join our MQ team in Chicago, IL (primary) with a second option in Richmond, VA. The role spans 12 months and focuses on managing and maintaining our IBM MQ infrastructure to support critical applications and services.

You will install, configure, monitor, and optimize IBM MQ servers, ensuring high availability and DR readiness. Collaboration with development teams and on-call rotation are essential components of this role.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience with IBM MQSeries, including MQ clustering.
• At least 6 years of experience with Linux.
• At least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain IBM MQ infrastructure to ensure availability and reliability for applications and services.
• Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ servers and related infrastructure.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and take corrective actions.
