Job summary

Genworth is seeking an experienced Lead Security Engineer for Identity and Access Management in Lynchburg, VA with hybrid in-office and remote options for eligible locations. You will architect, implement, and support enterprise IAM solutions, focusing on SailPoint IIQ and Identity Security Cloud to strengthen access governance across the organization.

You will collaborate with security, IT, HR, and compliance teams to streamline identity lifecycle, enforce least privilege, and mature the IAM

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) programs and security governance.
• Strong background in secure development practices and IAM program maturation.
• Ability to translate business and compliance requirements into IAM designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise IAM solutions with a focus on SailPoint IIQ and Identity Security Cloud.
• Engineer identity lifecycle processes: joiner/mover/leaver, provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests.
• Configure workflows, connectors, roles, and policy enforcement across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with application owners, HR, compliance, and audit to onboard apps and improve controls.
• Own documentation, runbooks, and implementation notes for audit readiness and operations.
