Job summary

IDR, Inc. in McLean, VA seeks an IAM Platform Architect to define enterprise IAM strategy and governance across a large, complex environment in hospitality.

You will partner with security, infrastructure, application, and risk teams to deliver scalable identity solutions spanning cloud, on-prem, SaaS, and emerging AI identity use cases. You’ll lead architecture reviews, establish standards across IGA, SSO/federation, and secrets management, and translate requirements into durable IAM designs

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IAM architecture, engineering, or solution design experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across IAM fundamentals including identity lifecycle, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, LDAP, APIs, SCIM, RBAC, and Zero Trust concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint (IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud) and Microsoft Entra/Active Directory.
• Experience designing and integrating federation and directory platforms (e.g., PingFederate and PingDirectory).
• Ability to communicate and influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders, producing clear architecture documentation and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise IAM target-state architecture, principles, and multi-year roadmaps for human and non-human identities.
• Lead architecture/design reviews and produce diagrams, decision records, capability models, and transition plans.
• Establish standards and reusable patterns across IGA, SSO/federation, directory services, PAM, and secrets management.
• Translate business, security, risk, and regulatory requirements into durable, scalable IAM designs.
• Drive adoption of common IAM approaches across applications (e.g., SSO, provisioning, RBAC, access request workflows).
