Prudential Financial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer in Newark, NJ to design, implement and support enterprise IAM across Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and governance platforms.

You will automate lifecycle processes, strengthen access governance and collaborate with product owners, security, risk and operations. The role requires hands-on engineering, disciplined troubleshooting and clear documentation from requirements to production support, including

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IAM or access-management engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Experience with SSO and automated provisioning (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM).
• Knowledge of RBAC, access reviews and least privilege.

Responsibilities

• Engineer IAM capabilities across Entra ID, AD and identity platforms.
• Onboard applications using SAML2.0, OIDC, OAuth2.0 and SCIM.
• Design RBAC, entitlement models and segregation of duties.
• Support identity lifecycle: joiners/movers/leavers, provisioning, reviews.
• Enforce Conditional Access, MFA, and passwordless controls.
• Plan tenant-to-tenant and hybrid identity changes.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, federation and provisioning issues.
• Automate operations with PowerShell, Graph and APIs; test & log changes.
• Collaborate with architects, risk, audit and engineers; write docs.
