Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Senior IAM Control Sustainability and Assurance Specialist to strengthen long-term IAM control effectiveness, resilience, and audit readiness. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, assess design and operating effectiveness, and partner with auditors and control owners.

You will drive repeatable procedures, validation checks, and assurance practices, while advancing automation to reduce manual effort and improve traceability across IAM

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IAM, technology risk, control assurance or related field.
• Knowledge of risk concepts, control design, and evidence sufficiency.
• Experience with identity lifecycle management and access provisioning.
• Automation, scripting, analytics, or workflow design to improve processes.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and advise stakeholders.
• Strong judgment, ownership, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Translate audit and regulatory requirements into practical control expectations.
• Assess control design, execution, and operating effectiveness independently.
• Partner with control owners, auditors, and leaders to identify risks and remediation.
• Establish repeatable procedures, validation checks, and health indicators.
• Advance automation across IAM control and audit workflows.
