Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a Senior IAM Cloud Engineer to lead cloud identity initiatives across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID. The role supports the Kentucky K-12 ecosystem, handling provisioning, migrations, DNS/DHCP, and security services for thousands of users and domains.

The candidate will coordinate between CABINET partners, manage incidents, and drive modernization efforts, including AD-to-cloud transitions and API connectivity changes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

JobDescription:

Therole will service as our Connected User Experience System (CUES) service leadalong with supporting services across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365,Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect or successor synchronization technologies,DNS, DHCP, and other critical identity and security platforms. This positionmaintains and supports the directory, identity, provisioning, and securityservices that CABINET provides to Kentucky’s 171 school districts and CABINET employees.This position will support approximately 180 domains serving more than 750,000users, and the transition to modern cloud-based identity, provisioning,authentication, and access management services. This position will assist withsustaining current operations, supporting migration planning and execution, andensuring continuity of service during and after transition. This role mayoccasionally require work outside standard business hours to ensure propersystem functioning and timely completion of critical deliverables, asdetermined by the manager and in accordance with organizational policies.

Description:

• Serveas the CUES service lead between CABINET operations teams, Infinite Campus(IC), Tyler Technologies (Munis), and Identity Automation (Rapid Identity) toensure alignment of integrations, requirements, and service delivery.
• Coordinateongoing communication, issue resolution, and roadmap alignment across allpartners.
• Leadand support operational and service migration from legacy ActiveDirectory-based provisioning to modern cloud identity and related cloudservices.
• Workwith internal operations teams to manage incidents, changes, and serviceimprovements impacting these connected systems.
• Supportimplementation and enhancement efforts related to CUES, including identityprovisioning, system integrations, and API/connectivity changes across IC,Tyler, and Rapid Identity platforms.
• Manageand support current provisioning services from MS AD forest to multiple EntraID tenants through Azure AD Connect or successor synchronization technologies.
• Serveas a project resource for major directory, identity, cloud provisioning, andmodernization initiatives supporting Kentucky K-12 school districts.
• Provideoperational support and management for the KY K-12 Enterprise environmentswhile it remains in service, including coordination with partners to supportstabilization, migration readiness, and eventual decommissioning activities.
• Provideongoing support for the integration of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365,including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual monitoring and maintenance tasksfor cloud identity, provisioning, licensing, synchronization, and collaborationservices.
• Monitor,configure, and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP infrastructure, ensuring performance,security, and readiness for changes associated with AD decommissioning andcloud identity modernization.
• Performother duties as assigned, including documentation, operational readiness,stakeholder coordination, and transition support related to identitymodernization and legacy service retirement.
