Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead identity and access management across hybrid environments, overseeing Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. You will ensure least-privilege access, support audits, and drive secure identity governance.

Strong collaboration with IT and security teams is essential, along with automation using PowerShell, Graph, and related tools. Emphasis on Zero Trust and secure access lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT, CS, IS, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in administering Microsoft hybrid identity environments (AD & Entra ID).
• 5+ years in identity and access management, security operations, or related tech role.
• Microsoft certifications such as SC-300 or Azure security engineer preferred (within 6 months).
• Experience with Entra Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and hybrid identity sync.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise identity platforms (Entra ID, AD, Microsoft 365).
• Implement and maintain RBAC, least-privilege, and privileged access management.
• Configure authentication/authorization controls (MFA, SSO, conditional access).
• Monitor identity-related alerts, logs, and access review results for security.
• Troubleshoot identity, authentication, and directory issues with cross-team collaboration.
• Maintain identity documentation, procedures, and audit evidence.
