Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Sr. Software Engineer (IaC) with TS/SCI for a world‑leading technology organization in the Raleigh, NC area.

This hybrid role leads the design, development, and implementation of scalable Infrastructure as Code to support secure, cloud‑native platforms. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software/DevOps, strong IaC experience with Terraform/Terragrunt, and Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid environments; Python automation is preferred.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and Terragrunt.
Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid environments.
Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Python, for automation.
Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong CI/CD, version control, and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain IaC solutions across environments.
Architect reusable infrastructure modules and automation tooling.
Collaborate with software, DevOps, and security teams for secure deployments.
Support Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads.
Develop automation and tooling to improve infrastructure reliability.
