Eaton is seeking an I4.0 Automation & Controls Engineer for the Electrical Sector Americas. You will lead automation initiatives across ES-A facilities, collaborate with plants to create roadmaps, and develop project scopes for capital projects.

The role requires 5+ years automating manufacturing processes, strong knowledge of automation technologies, and the ability to influence across regions and suppliers. Relocation is not offered; candidates must be within 50 miles of specified locations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years experience automating manufacturing processes.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC El Paso, TX or Columbia, SC.

Responsabilidades

• Identify automation opportunities.
• Work with plants to develop automation roadmaps.
• Develop project scopes of work and specifications.
• Assist plants in the development of RFQ packages.
• Assist plants in the development of their automation business cases.
• Manage portfolio of automation projects.
• Deploy automation solutions for Electrical Sector Americas plants.
• Ensure compliance of manufacturing systems with EHS requirements (MESH 8.0).
• Participate in Eaton global technology councils.
• Develop and deploy technology playbook standards with global tech councils.
• Develop a hopper of projects and required capital for annual profit plan.
• Drive accountability for project execution and deliverables.
• Provide guidance for design for automation (DFA).
• Train & mentor technical resources within ES-A.
• Support I4.0 Roadshows & Bootcamps.
