Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower in Mitchell, SD is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to service and improve a wide range of plant equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and program control systems, including PLCs and robotics.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma; technical training preferred.
• SD Journeyman Electrical license preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or Technical Associate’s degree and 3 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds, installs, maintains, and repairs a variety of production equipment in the plant.
• Solves advanced mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
• Programs and troubleshoots control systems including robotic and PLC automation; troubleshoots PLC I/O and VFDs.
• Troubleshoots and identifies root causes, repairs or replaces parts, wires and installs related electrical goods.
• Develops and improves preventative maintenance schedules.
• Collaborates with management to improve equipment reliability and processes.
• Schedules and coordinates with vendors for repairs, training, and installations.
• Verifies safety devices are inspected regularly for all machines.
• Provides training for technicians and production leads.
• Performs 5S activities and inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Acts as informal leader and mentor to maintenance team members.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Adheres to Twin City Fan core values in daily work.
