Job summary

Grace, a leading global supplier of catalysts and engineered materials, seeks an Instrument & Electrical (I&E) SME to join its engineering team. This role supports capital projects and plant operations, reporting to the Engineering Director and location-flexible to Grace sites nationwide.

Responsibilities include design reviews, vendor selection, and SME support for plant reliability and maintenance initiatives, with travel up to 25% and strict adherence to engineering standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of experience in capital project, operations or maintenance execution.
• Knowledge of PSM and electrical standards.
• Ability to develop standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve electrical engineering documents across all project phases.
• Lead electrical scope definition, planning, and vendor selection.
• Serve as SME in design reviews, MOCs, PHA, and LOPA.
• Support commissioning and startup activities.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure continuity of ongoing projects.
• Support reliability and maintenance COE initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate engineering standards and policies.
• Travel up to 25%.
