Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Facilities Instrumentation and Controls engineer to design, implement, and upgrade critical systems across multiple sites. You will drive IoT analytics, support automation, and ensure adherence to global standards while mentoring junior engineers.

The role involves on-site responsibilities with potential part-time telecommute, and requires a Bachelor's in a related engineering field and 6 years of experience in instrumentation and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls for facilities.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, Fire Alarm and Life Safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and upgrade instrumentation and control systems for facilities.
• Provide onsite support for critical systems and respond to outages.
• Lead design reviews and ensure compliance with global standards and regulations.
• Develop and mentor team members; collaborate with site operations and maintenance.
