Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. seeks a Career-Level Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support site-based projects in Corvallis, Oregon.

In a hybrid role, you will design control systems, develop P&IDs, SOO, and lead system integration while coordinating with stakeholders to meet schedules and design requirements. The ideal candidate has a PE license, a ABET-accredited engineering degree, and at least six years of I&C experience, with NFPA/UL508A knowledge, strong analytical skills and

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control systems.
Solid understanding of NFPA and UL508A standards and requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Design facility control systems and SCADA projects.
Develop P&IDs, loop drawings, control panels, and detailed wiring diagrams.
Formulate Sequences of Operation (SOO) for complex systems.
Develop and implement instrumentation controls for manufacturing process equipment and associated safety/automation systems.
Provide in-process support of controls within an active manufacturing environment.
Participate in the development of project proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific scopes.
Deliver technical and business presentations to internal teams and external clients.
