Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio seeks a senior I&C and Digital engineering leader to manage power uprate projects. You will ensure safe, reliable, and compliant design, modification, and testing of I&C and Digital systems within NRC and fleet standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years in nuclear engineering, with 5+ years in electrical design, plus experience with Extended Power Uprates and large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, Electrical preferred.
• 10+ years nuclear engineering experience, with 5+ years in electrical design.
• Experience with Extended Power Uprates and major $1B+ projects.
• Knowledge of NRC, INPO, IEEE, NERC, ANSI codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C and Digital scope for EPU projects with safety, quality, cost, and schedule focus.
• Direct and review I&C and Digital system designs for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with EPCs, OEMs, and site engineering for compatibility.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve I&C and Digital issues.
• Ensure designs support long-term operability and integration.
