Job summary

Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Senior Design Consultant - I&C (I&E) in Spring Hill, FL.

Under general direction, you will oversee engineering activities for electrical and instrumentation & control at SHCCF, guiding colleagues to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities include design studies, developing specifications, and economic evaluations, with emphasis on plant operation analysis and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of experience in large, modern power plants.
• Experience developing technical specifications, economic studies, evaluation and analysis.
• Familiarity with NERC standards and procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan equipment or process evaluation, testing and monitoring programs up to three years ahead.
• Review proposed designs for completeness and applicability.
• Lead design studies for Instrumentation and Controls process systems or equipment.
• Develop technical specifications, pricing documents, bidder lists and evaluation criteria.
