Job summary
TEKsystems in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Hyper-V virtualization to design, build, and optimize large-scale platforms. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Extensive hands-on Hyper-V experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V clustering, live migration, and storage optimization.
- Experience with PowerShell and automation; cloud/hybrid design patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise-scale Hyper-V cluster architectures.
- Develop reference architectures and best practices for virtualization platforms.
- Engineer and support highly available Hyper-V environments with live migration.
- Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and patching.
- Collaborate across infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
