Job summary

Brookfield Renewable N.A. is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations responsible for directing a diverse team to ensure safe, efficient and reliable hydro facility operations and maintenance.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and governs budgets, training, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The incumbent will lead safety-driven operations across the Androscoggin River and related assets, coordinating with contractors and staff to optimize performance and reliability while

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentoring of a multi-discipline team in hydro operations.
• Experience in budgeting, planning and cost control for maintenance programs.
• Solid knowledge of HSSE policies and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and analytical skills for reports and briefings.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple objectives.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a group of employees including contractors, supervisors, and craft technicians in hydro facility operations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance and operations for the Androscoggin River facility; balance maintenance with operations.
• Develop and implement short and long-term maintenance strategies and budgets.
• Oversee contracts, vendor negotiations, and training plans; monitor staff engagement.
