Job summary
JMT is seeking a Project Engineer II – Hydraulic Modeler to lead hydraulic modeling for water/wastewater projects in the Mid-Atlantic. You will manage multiple projects, develop schedules, and guide a modeling team to deliver high-quality analyses for sanitary sewer and potable water networks.
This mid-senior role requires a civil/environmental degree (ABET) and 8+ years of experience with InfoWorks, WaterGEMS, XPSWMM, and related tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 8 or 10+ years’ experience in hydraulic modeling or related field.
- Proficient with hydraulic modeling software and related data management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical communication.
- Experience with hydraulic designs, sewer rehabilitation, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead hydraulic modeling assignments and project management.
- Develop, calibrate, and validate hydraulic models.
- Coordinate modeling team and client communications.
- Prepare calculations, deliverables, and reports.
