Job summary

Muddy Water Dredging LP is seeking an experienced Leverman to operate a Hydraulic Cutterhead Suction Dredge. You will manage cutterhead, spuds, and winches, monitor dredging progress via charts, GPS, and computers, and maintain daily logs.

Strong English communication and willingness to work extended weeks are essential for this role. Founded in 2021, the company offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits while performing a range of dredging services.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate the dredging controls and equipment of a Hydraulic dredge.
• 10+ years experience as Leverman or similar capacity.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work an 84-hour week (21 days on, 14 days off).
• Experience with safety procedures and use of life-saving equipment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutterhead swing and spud controls to remove materials from beneath the water.
• Meet with Dredge Captain/Engineers to discuss progress and plans; log activities daily.
