New York Life Investments seeks a seasoned Commercial Mortgage Underwriter/Originator to join NYL REI's Southeast team. Based in hybrid Atlanta and traveling as needed, you will underwrite loans, forecast cash flows, and structure debt solutions for real estate assets.

You will bring 7–10 years of experience, a track record with major financial institutions, and strong teamwork. NYL REI offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to advance in a long-standing mutual company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience as a commercial mortgage underwriter or originator.
• Experience with a major financial institution or mortgage broker.
• Proven track record in commercial mortgage loan origination.
• Travel in this role is required

Responsabilités

• Analyze, underwrite and forecast property cash flows using Argus and Excel.
• Size and price loans with proper structural features and negotiate term sheets.
• Successful track record in commercial mortgage loan origination, due diligence, and closing.
• Team player who is organized, efficient, proactive and accountable.
• Interacting with borrowers, brokers and real estate professionals to gather data.
