Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Atlanta is seeking a senior Infrastructure Architect to plan, implement, and maintain the firm's virtual and physical infrastructure. You will work with the Technical Architecture team to support on‑premises, hybrid, and Azure environments across multiple data centers.

Requirements include 6+ years in Hypervisor and Azure design/administration, plus deep experience with VMware, Nutanix, Hyper‑V, Cisco UCS, HPE, and SAN/storage management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years with Hypervisor and Azure design and administration in a senior role.
• Manage Microsoft Azure cloud tenants including Entra ID (Azure AD) and related services.
• 6+ years with hypervisor platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper‑V) incl. deployment and troubleshooting.
• 6+ years with enterprise server platforms (Cisco UCS, HPE).
• 6+ years’ work with enterprise SAN and cloud storage and server management.
• Experience delivering hybrid on‑premises and Azure cloud solutions.
• Experience implementing vSphere, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager.
• Strong ability to identify improvements and implement changes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on‑premises, hybrid, and Azure infrastructure environments with provisioning, patching, and migration.
• Design, upgrade, and support enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and Azure storage services.
• Build resilient solutions across data centers and Azure regions for business continuity.
• Architect and deliver on‑premises and Azure‑based infrastructure for projects.
• Monitor, document, and analyze performance and capacity; report findings.
• Implement infrastructure enhancements leveraging Azure services for secure, mobile workforce.
• Provide operational support and participate in after‑hours maintenance as required.
• Share knowledge with the Technical Architecture team and the Operations group.
• Coordinate changes per internal change management procedures.
