Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Technical Architecture team in Dallas. You will partner with the Technical Architecture team to plan, implement, and maintain the virtual and physical infrastructure across on‑premises and Azure environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities include managing Azure storage, SAN/NAS, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper‑V), implementing Site Recovery Manager, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years' work with Hypervisor and Azure design and administration in a senior role.
• Proven ability to manage all aspects of Microsoft Azure cloud tenants.
• At least 6 years with hypervisor platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V) and enterprise server platforms (Cisco UCS, HPE).
• 6+ years' experience with SAN and cloud storage and server management.
• Experience designing, operating, and supporting hybrid on-premises and Azure environments.
• Experience implementing vSphere, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support on-premises, hybrid, and Azure infrastructure environments.
• Design, maintain, and upgrade enterprise storage (SAN, NAS, Azure storage).
• Design and support highly available solutions across data centers and Azure regions.
• Architect and deliver on-premises and Azure‑based infrastructure for projects.
• Monitor environments, document inventory, and analyze performance and capacity.
• Research and implement Azure-based enhancements for secure, mobile workforce and agile development.
• Provide operational support including reporting, change coordination, and after-hours support.
• Share knowledge with team members and coordinate with Architecture and Operations teams.
• Ensure integrity of replication between data centers.
• Provide regular reports for all environments.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades during off hours and coordinate changes with teams.
