Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Technical Specialist - HW/SW integration for the SDV 2.0 Aggregator to drive hardware–software integration as a product. You will define software content, coordinate with GM teams and suppliers, and ensure milestones are met through design, validation, and release phases.

The role requires deep technical expertise in microprocessor-based control of automotive electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support software architecture definition and align with hardware delivery plans.
• Coordinate software timing plans to meet MRD dates and program milestones.
• Support HSIS activities aligned with hardware.
• Lead software/ hardware integration troubleshooting across GM labs, suppliers, and locations.
