Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an HVAC Technician 2 in Cedar Rapids to deliver portable HVAC equipment, install and train customers on safe operation, and perform repairs. You will handle equipment checks, paperwork, and on-call shifts, including weekends and evenings, contributing to high customer satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years of HVAC experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to troubleshoot climate control gear.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of formal HVAC experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• HVAC Certificate preferred; state licensure for refrigeration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment; trains operator on safe use.
• Directs customers to sign paperwork; keeps track of serial numbers.
• Troubleshoots equipment and understands operation and controls.
• Operates vehicle safely and follows safety policies.
• Completes paperwork for deliveries and service calls.
• Is on call for emergency service on weekends and evenings.
