ACE Heating & Cooling Inc in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to join our growing team. You will lead diagnostics, repairs, and installations with a commitment to craftsmanship and reliability.

You will troubleshoot complex refrigerant, electrical, and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards while delivering top-tier service to residential and light commercial clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of refrigerants, electrical systems, and HVAC controls.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with both residential and light commercial systems preferred.

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems including AC units, heat pumps, and air handlers, package units, etc
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across a variety of HVAC equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and tune-ups to ensure optimal system performance
• Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
