Job summary

EMI Services, a subsidiary of TechFlow, seeks an HVAC Manager for Naval Air Station Patuxent River. You will supervise the HVAC shop, coordinate with government teams, and supervise staff across maintenance, repair and replacement of HVAC systems aboard the installation.

This role requires extensive journeyman experience, certification, and strong safety practices; you will lead safety inspections, manage purchasing, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CFC Certification required.
• Extensive journey-level supervisory experience in HVAC.
• Experience with maintenance, repair and operation of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and review HVAC shop work for facility maintenance and repair.
• Determine materials, equipment, and supplies to use.
• Coordinate movement of equipment and personnel across projects.
• Schedule work, set priorities, and direct staff.
• Evaluate performance and ensure safety compliance.
• Procure spare parts and manage procurement documents.
• Train staff in maintenance and safety methods.
• Assist in safety inspections and quality control programs.
• Perform vehicle monthly mileage and safety inspections.
• Identify training needs and ensure access to training.
