Polk Mechanical Company is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our high-performing team in a hands-on, on-site role. You will take ownership of service tasks within a self-directed team, delivering reliable HVAC solutions with urgency and a focus on excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of verifiable HVAC experience.
EPA Universal License required.
Strong refrigerant system expertise (piping, evacuation, charging).
Excellent communication and driving record.

Responsibilities

Expert Troubleshooting: identify repair and replacement needs with precision.
System Installation & Maintenance: install, repair, maintain, and upgrade HVAC systems and equipment.
Equipment Commissioning: start and commission HVAC equipment such as fans, pumps, AHUs.
Technical Proficiency: use instruments to measure static pressure, voltage, amperage, and CFM.
Routine Maintenance: perform filter changes, belts, and motors.
Professional Communication: maintain clear communication with customers and office.
Documentation & Organization: complete and submit daily paperwork.
Safety & Compliance: follow safety rules and defensive driving.
Availability: support 24/7 on-call rotation.
