Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning seeks a full-time HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential and light commercial systems in Pooler, GA.

Under minimal supervision, you will read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and ductwork, perform preventive maintenance, and communicate clearly with customers. EPA and safety certifications are required, as is a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree/Certification in HVAC or related field or 2-5 years of previous experience.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems; previous experience as an Installer, Maintenance, or Service Technician
• EPA and safety certifications required
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area
• Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Communicates with customer to answer questions, resolves problems, ensures satisfaction.
• Promotes products and services to customer.
• Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Record information on handheld device and complete paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch for status updates.
• Maintain company property, vehicles, and tools.
• Follow procedures and ensure vehicle stocked and supplies replenished.
• Be on-call and flexible hours as needed.
