Job summary

Ruby Mountain HVAC-R — Northern Nevada is seeking an Experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential and light commercial systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, mini-splits, and rooftop units.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues, present honest repair options to owners and managers, document visits with an iPad, and participate in on-call rotations while mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on field experience in HVAC service and diagnostics in residential/light commercial settings.
• EPA Universal Card required (OSHA 10 preferred or able to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong electrical, refrigerant, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities; ability to read wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues.
• Perform recovery, evacuation, leak detection, brazing, charging, and pressure testing.
