Job summary

Heartland Home Services is seeking a Senior Residential HVAC Service Technician based in Chicago, Illinois. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in HVAC service, possess EPA certification and be customer service oriented.

The role includes diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment while providing exemplary customer service education. Pay ranges from $40 to $50 per hour based on experience, supplemented with bonuses and commission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential HVAC service.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• EPA Certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain residential HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems.
• Consult customers on repairs and replacements.

Skills

Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook

Education

Position

Senior Residential HVAC Service Technician

Compensation

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour depending on experience plus spiffs and commission.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday: 7:00am or 8:00am start time to 4:00pm or 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of residential HVAC equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment
• Apprentice ride alongs
• Customer service education of customers on maintenance program and Indoor Air Quality options
• Consult with customer on repair and replacements
• Dispatched from home via Service Titan

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 5+ years of residential service experience
• EPA Certified
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
