Job summary

Triangle Environmental in Plainfield, IL seeks a Senior HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to service, repair, and install commercial systems for a stable roster of clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, Universal EPA Certification, and is ready to lead on complex projects with on-call duties. A $3,000 signing bonus after 6 months is offered.

Starting pay is $50–$60/hour for a full-time schedule with 35–45 hours per week, plus health, dental, 401(k) and PTO benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
• Universal EPA Certification required.
• Residential sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service, repair, and install HVAC and refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Maintain motors, compressors, condensers, evaporators, controls and ducting.
• Monitor system performance and identify inefficiencies to improve comfort and efficiency.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and mentor entry level technicians.
